In order to fix the issue, remove the software from your computer using its uninstaller or Add or Remove Programs feature (Control Panel > Uninstall a program) and reboot the PC. After that, run a registry cleaner from Software Informer database to make sure that there are no leftover registry keys in your system and install the program again. If the problem persists, use [email protected] email address to get in touch with the support team.
Download the required driver from the Internet and launch it. Follow the on-screen instructions then restart the computer. If the drive is still missing, go to Device Manager and manually install the driver. Use the Recommended installation method and it should work this way.
I have Adobe and CyberView software downloaded on my PC, but when I try to connect to the scanner through my computer, it does not recognize the scanner. Can you help?

In order to fix the issue, right-click My Computer/Computer, select Manage and open Device Manager. Locate the scanner device (in general, it is located in the Imaging devices list), right-click on the driver and select Uninstall. After that, reboot your computer, connect the scanner, press Scan for hardware changes icon from Device Manager and reinstall the drivers.
The problem is not with the Vista but with the support application. The drivers will install correctly, only that you need to use an alternative such as Picasa to acquire and edit scans because its original application is not compatible with Vista.

In order to find and download the driver, you can try to use Google search engine. Also, you can contact the OmniVision Sales Team and ask for it.
